This site enables me to communicate my ideas and interests with scholars and others who may happen upon it. My primary
work is in philosophy and theology, but I range into other disciples. It is also, of course a vehicle for shameless self promotion
or what a friend, Fred Lawrence, called the "infinite desire to be known"
I am increasingly intrigued by Irigaray and her response to Heidegger, among other things. Lately, I am also trying
to catch up a bit on unending writing of the Lonergan scholar Philip McShane see philipmcshane.ca which may be a bit hermetic,
but is always energetic and challenging.
Other Adventures
Interests: Theology, postmodernism, deconstruction, comparative religions. I work on Lonergan, Derrida, Heidegger,
Deleuze and other authors. I am also interested in literary theory and historiography.
I have an affinity for most things Italian, having lived in Rome for 5 years. Since 2001, I have been in Virigina Beach
and in cyberspace.
